The KPI 3 is our third generation of “Best Practice” controllers for cooling systems. They monitor, control and data log – pH, ORP, Conductivity, Temperature, and with Linear Polarization corrosion rates for both umpy and pit rate on two separate metals, typically mild steel and copper.
Corrosion probes are ring specimens machined from heat exchanger tube to ensure the same metallurgy and automatic control on flow velocity toensure a very high degree of accuracy.
Combination probes – pH/ORP/GND Ref and Flow/Temp/Conductivity probes allow for a compact sensor manifold and with differential inputs for maximum accuracy and freedom from interference such as ground loops.
Installation of a GSM modem and the use of AquaGuard 2 software allows for -

The CT and CP series of controllers are specifically tailored for programmed dosage of 2 different non-oxidizing biocides, dispersant dosage as well as automatic bleed off and automatic inhibitor dosage, and with internal data logging.
The units feature Pre Bleed and Bleed Lockout facilities with automatic overrides to ensure maximum retention of biocide and maximum bacterial kill on each dose.
Use of the data log data obtained, either locally via a laptop or remotely via a GSM modem and AquaGuard 2 software, can highlight maintenance deficiencies detrimental to the water treatment program such as overflowing cooling towers, blocked bleed solenoids, or failed solenoid valves, etc.
The use of our design - self priming peristaltic pumps rated to 350 kPa. (50 psi), with Norprene squeeze tube and glass filled polypropylene casing, and housing a 16 watt motor ensure reliable & troublefree dosage of all common water treatment chemicals.

Oxidizing biocides are often seen as the preferred method of bacterial control in cooling systems. With this sensor controlled dosage, a consistent level of Oxidizing chemical can be maintained and monitored in the system 24/7.
Our range of cooling tower conductivity controllers provide this ability with in-built safety features and benefits to provide accuracy and data logged history, alarms and analysis of water treatment performance. These include:
- ORP sensing and control to inhibit the growth and proliferation of Legion Ella and other micro organisms by managing the dosage of oxidizing biocides automatically to a programmed set point. More Info (Technical Article ORP)
- pH sensing and control to reduce or elevate pH to improve biocide effectiveness, augment corrosion control and maximize the cycles of concentration to reduce water consumption.
- Dosage of Chemicals to protect the system from scale and corrosion with other cleaning agent such as dispersants in a combined package
- Data Logging for reporting and recording performance of water treatment regime
