pH/ORP/Ground Reference Combination Probe
Aquarius newly engineered pH/ORP sensors are now combined into a single probe.

With the ground reference placed beside the sensors, a more precise reading is achieved.

Communication for Controllers

Aquarius Technologies has invested serious time and money in developing the communication ability of our exclusively designed and manufactured controllers.

We ensure options are available to suit customer requirements for reporting and alarm purposes.

Options for controller communication are:

  • Remote control software developed by Aquarius Technologies enhances the benefits of automated control and water treatment professionals can focus on complete customer care.

Our innovative software allows convenient remote response to alarm generation, with benefits, if required, of off site activation or deactivation of pumps and relays and full off site analysis of the system.

Having invested in this value for money option, many building managers and owners have recognised our powerful package for its true ability and are reaping the rewards of better accountability.

  • GSM modems are available as a factory fitted option in our new range of controllers. These modems aids in the connection of computers for remote control and enables controllers to send SMS alarms to recipients.
  • Data Logging is incorporated as a standard feature of controllers. Developed over many years this feature provides information valuable to reviewing water treatment performance. It provides stored readings on the measures of sensors and relay responses of various programmable modules of the controllers.

    • Data is collected in user set intervals and safely stored in the controller memory for later extraction via the RS232 port. Memory capacity is over 2400 lines and can provide over 40 days of data stored at 30 minute intervals (shorter or longer depending on your desired setting).

    •  Reviewing this stored data can be achieved in two different ways. Using Microsoft Hyper Terminal for connection for data extraction only, or via Aquarius Technologies computer software package AquaGuard2 (See PDF here). This software provides two way communication and a spreadsheet suite for automated report generation and sequenced data storage for historical review on your computer or laptop.

  • Alarm generation is necessary to provide quick reaction time to issues detected by the controller.

Alarm transmissions are rarely sent to indicate a failure of the controller, tending more to identify other issues at the site that affect measures and plant efficiency.

Alarm parameters may be user set on all measures to provide for individual site requirements and include conductivity (TDS), ORP (oxidizing biocide), pH, empty tank (chemical levels), corrosion and flow.

Alarm transmission is available in the following methods.

    • SMS alarms may be generated when the controller is fitted with our optional GSM modem package. Alarms are individualised so the recipient of the alarm has all the relevant information required to enable them to react accordingly.

These alarms inform the recipient what the alarm is for and from where the alarm was generated. A user may enter particular site details to indicate a site name and, or location.

The controllers can store up to three recipient mobiles for SMS transmission. Repeat options are also easily programmable.

    • BMS cards may be fitted to provide all measures and relay status in 4-20mA. This can provide individual measure alarms directly to the building computer for issue to the relevant respondent.

    • A No Volt Alarm contact is supplied standard in all Aquarius Technologies controllers. This terminal provides the site with an ability to loop a signal through the no volt contact to provide a common alarm on all measures. This can be used to provide a general alarm to indicate attendance is required. This is issued as that would indicate the requirement of checking the controller.

  • Building management systems connections are available in 4-20mA analogue signals.
Our controller range may be fitted with the appropriate BMS card to provide signals from all measures, relay status and alarm activations. These signals are then manipulated by the site IT professional to provide screen readings and recording systems for complete system visibility at the control room computer.
